Very hands on and right to the point. It is easy to follow and understand. We try to make things way to complicated! He narrows it down, breaks it into parts and shows you how easy being happy really is! Definitely worth the read.
very primitive book in its essence and even how it is printed. its the kind of book where you go do marketing meetings and they teach you to publish a book for the purpose of credibility in marketplace as an author.
Although Joseph is a cool guy and does good job at tony robbins events. this book is just a little knock off of tony robbins exercises with some basic and some Joseph anecdotal suggestions on how to live a happier life overall.
Joseph has AMAZING energy and he walks his talk. He's the real deal!
Get Happy Now is an outstanding book. Joe is a terrific writer and speaker that understands people and te psychology of both happiness and success.
This is an easy book to read as Joe makes the ideas and concepts clear and understandable. If you follow the advice in the book and your true goals is happiness, you will find it within these pages.

Let me add if you ever have a chance to attend Unleash the Power Within with Anthony Robbins and Joe Mclendon, the experience will change your life exponentially.
I was expecting a different approach. The book is good but it always depends on your personal situation at the time when you read it in order to take better advantage of all the message and suggestions. Thus, it didn`t find the possibility to get happy now.
I love Joseph McClendon III. Seen him on stage, watched some of the videos, laughed with him, cried with him - big fan of the man.
And I was excited for this book. Never read the others that the author wrote (though I just added to cart) and figured his newest book I will start with.
The book is simple. No heavy stuff. Nothing to make you think. Simple and to the point. Some good stories. Some stories of Joseph I did not know which I liked. And then there was some strategies to get happy now! GREAT strategies really.
Strategies that work. Has work and still will work. Use it if you will get the book.
Yet, I feel that the rest of the book was a bit fluff and extra. It wasn't meaty for me and maybe it is because I've read so many of the like that this may have felt like another book in the self help world...
Either way, I suggest you pick it up for the strategies in the book and have fun with it.
One thing for sure, Joseph is a happy guy - I've seen it and feel it - therefore it is proper he would be teaching this.
Joseph McClendon does it again! A simple yet extremely valuable look at not only what drives happiness but, also a practical approach to avoiding the unhappy pitfalls. I love a book with action steps and accountability. This book is more than a book. It's a plan for building the life you dream of.
