I love this series. It is fun and very inventive, a little unusual time travel, witchcraft and love all mixed into one fun quick read. Seda again has a man to save from the cruel workings of her "ancestor" who locks the men she scorns onto paintings. They are forced to stare out of the frame until their true love sees the painting, then they can be freed. In this case the painting of the Marquess was purchased by Seda for her friend Jade. From the dreams or nightmare Seda has she is sure the Marquess and Jade are true loves but the Marquess breaks out of his painting before Seda can get it to the states where Jade lives. The rest is a fun tale about who the true loves really are. But Seda is has not completed her task of freeing all the men who are imprisoned in paintings. She has another nightmare, this time about a friend of the Marquess. Hopefully with the help of her new love she will find the next victim and help set him free to find his true love. We may even learn more about how the Life of the Marquess before he was cursed. This is a really fun read, very quick lighthearted and entertaining. I highly recommend it.
This was my 2nd book from Cassidy Cayman about a man trapped in a painting and it was just as good as the 1st. Can't wait to read the next one.

Very easy to get lost in this book. Easy to follow story line, with just enough twists to keep you reading, but not confusing. Characters are life-like, and build as series continues. Can't wait for the next one!
Cassidy hit it out of the ballpark again! This one is set in England, and I suspect the next one will be set in Italy. The storyline is wonderfully creative. Lots of laughs! Can't wait for book 3. I'd love to see all the couple's together at the end so that the three men can meet (two already know each other).
Sometimes you just have to read some "fluff" and fun. I love the concept of the men trapped in paintings just waiting for true love. I loved "Valhalla Cupcakes", thoroughly enjoyed "The Marquess Mess" and I can only assume that Daniel's story will be coming...hopefully soon!
I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. Funny, cute, looking forward to the next installment. Would have liked the story to be fleshed out more. It all seemed to be a bit abrupt and not as well thought out as the previous installment. But it shall do.
